Hello and thank you for browsing my page.

I was originally licensed as VE3OBI in 1982.

I am active on the HF bands from the home QTH near Toronto, by internet remote when travelling or by HF mobile while on holidays

ICOM 7000 with AB5N mic modification

TURBO TUNER for automated positioning of the antenna

KENWOOD TS480HX (200 watts)

SGC Power Cube (500 watts)

LDG 1000 PRO antenna tuner

SUPER LOOP 80 ( vertically polarized 10 - 80 mtrs) at 45 feet

TESLA LABS L.I.P.O. battery

SIERRA WIRELESS mobile hotspot

I frequently operate the remote while mobile.

Remotely, I can energize all of the equipment at the remote site.

Turn the HF antennas, activate the amplifier and switch between any of the 8 available antennas

Using the L.I.P.O. battery, I will average 8 hours of operation.

It's great to utilize the internet to allow ham radio to be more accessable.
