I have been licensed since 1992 and enjoy chasing the DX or a quality rag chew. I am a hobby musician and play lead/rythem guitar , bass guitar, percussion and do my own vocals. My music consists of mainly classic rock and up beat blues stylings. I invite hams or anyone for that matter to visit my music web page at www.myspace.com/robcalver you will have to type the web page into your search engine. The link here does not work. It would be really great to increase the number of visits and listeners to my site , making music that nobody hears is not very inspiring. My ham station consists of a Yaesu FT 2000, Sp 2000 speaker, MD 100 A8X desk mike also have a small Yaesu FT 840 for back up . I use an Ameritron AL-811 H Linear amplifier when needed. My antennas are simple a Hygain TH3 mark four at 50/55 feet or about 15/16 meters, Cushcraft R7 vertical which I use on 17 and 12 meters and 40 meters for dx . I have a OCF wire type antenna which is at 25/30feet. It is a great cloud warmer for closer in contacts on 40 and 80 meters. For 2 meters I have an Icom 2200H and a little four element beam at 40 feet. With my very average antennas I have worked and confirmed all but  4U1UN . Qsl via the Bureau preferred, also use e-qsl as well as QRZ logging system. If you need a card direct please include 1 IRC as I have a small pension income only, mail is very expensive in Canada. No IRC card will be sent via Bureau sorry.
