coolJust a brief blurb about me. I was first licensed as an amateur in February, 1990, under the call VE1 DWB in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. After being transferred to Trenton, Ontario I became VE3 UBN and then VA3 DWB. I went inactive about 1996 and returned to the airwaves in October, 2010. It's good to be back!cool

I enjoy rag chewing on HF SSB ,CW and work 2m and 70cm locally as well as IRLP. I also work PSK31 and RTTY on HF, as well as various other digital modes via my RigExpert Standard interface ,MixW and Ham Radio Deluxe software. I just recently started using MMTTY and MMSSTV as well. , Contesting.........I am just a casual contester , but I do not mind jumping in and helping out any station that can hear me, especially if your callsign is one I have not heard before.laughAdded QRO recently, in the form of an AL80B amplifier 1kw out.My rig is a Kenwood TS 2000 (affectionately known as my"shack-in-a-box")that I just got in May, 2011.yesThe old Kenwood TS 450SAT has been moved to mobile operations, occupying a position of highest esteem on the dash of my Chevrolet Silverado.

I am also on Echolink from time to time. For personal reasons, I do not display my home address. If you need/want a paper QSL card from me, send me a short email to the indicated address, giving me your contact info and I will reply promptly.
