I use "Andy" as my radio name.

Only my mother called me Louis - and that was when I was bad.

Please visit my web page at http://www.bcdxc.org/ve7aha_tour.htm. Also check out the clubs comprehensive amateur radio site at http://www.bcdxc.org/index.htm

On 40m I use an Alpha 77 and KLM 3el yagi at 35m.

Click "Detail", then click on "Satelite Image" then zoom and you can see the antennas.

My other call is VA7CW and I am FOC # 1963, SKCC #191T and CW ops #352.

I was in KH6 - Hawaii from January 16 to March 27, 2010. In Hawaii, I operate as KH6/VE7AHA from the village of Puako on the Big Island (IOTA OC-019). I use a pair of phased verticals on 40m, a K3 and an AL80b amp.

And I returned to KH6 January 15 to March 26, 2011 and January to March, 2012.

I will return to Puako in KH6 January 12 to March 25, 2013 and I will be very active particularly on 12 m with a kw and 3 el yagi.  Additionally, this year I will have a bigger property and I will be able to use the 40m phased verticals again.

My first call was WV2AYM in 1958- a LONG time ago.

And I was a 1/Lt. (Inf) in RVN - a LONG time ago.

QSL INFORMATION:

Best method is to please QSL direct with a self addressed envelope.

DO NOTsend money or IRC - I will return by direct mail.

Please include a self-addressed envelope.

But DO NOT send money or IRC. It is not necessary. An envelope is necessary.

STANDARD CW PRACTICE:

KN sent at the end of a CW transmission means thatONLY the station in QSO should transmit. All other stations should please STAND BY until the CW QSO is completed.

Example: VE7SV de VE7AHA KN

WRTC

1996 - San Francisco - I was a visitor and operated the contestfrom the back seat of my rental car in a local park.

2000 -Slovenia - I was a referee for I5NSR and I5JHW
