Click for more detail... Hello there to anyone checking up on me! I have been a ham since 1970, mostly enjoying the pleasures of HF CW, QRP and mobile/portable work. Lately I have spent more time tinkering with electronics in general, microprocessors and learning the Linux operating system. I have lived around the world and have had a number of callsigns over that time: VE6AGG (1970-1975) G4OBO (1979) VE6OY (1976-1982) VK2EOY (1982-1985) VK2OY (1985-1993) VE6TN/LU (1993-1996) VE6TN/W0 (1997) MW0AWC (1997-2000) VE6MK (2000-2003) VE7EA (2003 - present). My wife and I have recently settled in beautiful Victoria, on the southern tip of lovely Vancouver Island and we hope to call this home for many years to come. We enjoy the cycling, walking, kayaking, outdoors, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops that this area has to offer. My other hobbies are orienteering, archery, running, cycling, and astronomy. I use an IC-735 into a homebrew 80m full-size doublet antenna up 20m and fed with open wire feeders. I also have a stacked collinear on the roof of the house for VHF work. I'm afraid I am not really into QSL cards, so I have nothing to offer you there yet (except for this short bio)! 73's Larry VE7EA Last modified: Wed Dec 23 18:53:47 2009 Does this page contain inappropriate content?
