Pic 1 - Big Bertha(some years ago)My 1st Amp.

Built out of necessity to communicate with Jim VK2BOU whilst he was stationed in Antarctica.

Also worked UK (David G3FPQ) and Europe on 160m in Feb 1994 with this amp and 1.25 wavelength diamond loop at 100ft

Was very active on 40m with this setup in the 90's.Had many AM contacts with the USA on 40m.Was able to communicate with America around the clock with this setup.
