Antennas: 2m 70cm vert 10mt hor+vert Home built off centre fed Windom type dipole 35ft high. We live on one acre in the foothills of The Blue Mountains 50k n/w of Sydney. 10 June 2006: Just completed a home made 20M HEX BEAM and am receaving very good reports from contacts. So I hope to talk to you on 20M soon. My main hobby is Ham radio and four wheel outings with my family. I have just purchased a MATTEK L500 solid state linear amplifier (1.8megs to 30megs) and output is just under 600w. It makes a big difference in contacting stations overseas. The Mattek is the big black box on the top shelf.14/03/2013 Update: hit by lightening 1/12/2012 ft900 and dx70 lost and replaced with yaesu ft950.Many thanks to Wane ZL2WL for taking the time in helping me set up the menu as I was completely lost.
