Click for more detail... Clive Harman born 1935. Now retired , spent working life as a professional pilot. First with R.A.A.F. and then with Trans Australia Airlines for a short period. Then with the Australian regulator The Dept of Civil Aviation. Worked at the Flying Unit, involved in the testing and calibration of Navigation Aids. First Ham licence in the mid 1970s. Ham interests soon became involved in digital techniques.Initially with R.T.T.Y (Baudot and Ascii). Soon converted to "glass" with an old Ohio Superboard computer system.Very active initially with Amtor introduction in VK. Second AMtor operator in VK, first in P29 as P29CH. Now continue with Ham operations in Weather Station on APRS , but not so active on other modes. Other interests include Vintage and Veteran vehicles, local History and caravanning.
