Click for more detail... (Above pic is myself on the left and my mate Leigh the famous VK2KRR) Hi, glad you could look me up. I guess you have heard my callsign on air and had a contact with me to check up here on qrz.com. I am a Network Administrator for a local high school. I am the Vice President of our local amateur radio club, www.sadarc.org. We have an IRLP Node on 6992, that operates on our 70cm repeater VK3RGV 439.775Mhz. I have a couple of radios. A Yaesu FT-8900R quad bander, an IC-738 HF 100W set and a Yupiteru MVT-9000 scanner/reciever and a Puxing 777 2M handheld. I have a 20ft pole on the roof that supports my Diamond X300 dual band antenna. Gutter mounted AJ Coman HF 10-80m vertical and a 12 element Benelec Discone antenna on the 20ft mast also. I have also a Uniden Pro-810E, for 27mhz, running off a Benelec 1/2wave megatron (currently down). I grew up in Shepparton and have been apart of amateur radio since the age of 14. I found it hard to keep amateur radio at my highest priority when VCE struck. I got back into radio when I was 23. I have lots of different interest.. wireless networking, v8 commodores ;) which I own and drive, motorbikes, amateur radio, computers, and this list continues You can still be cool and be into amateur radio, SPREAD THE WORD! 73's Kane VK3HKH Last modified: Thu Dec 11 19:53:27 2008 Does this page contain inappropriate content?
