Have been licensed since 1973 in Bayshore, Long Island, New York as WN2LEW (1973-1974) then WA2LEW (1975-1987). Worked as portable 7 in Washington state in 1981/1982 as well as portable and maritime mobile KL7 in 1982. Worked in the Marine Science field for 7 years in New Jersey and Hydrography for 2 years in Seattle and Alaska. Emigrated to Australia and became VK4BOK (1987-1993) in Queensland and since 1993 have lived in Tasmania. I am a keen CW operator and work primarily on 40-10 meters. I do work some 2m FM and IRLP (6720). I also work PSK31 and JT65a.Iam interested in Genealogy, philately, free-lance writing, nature photography and fishing. Happy to exchange Australian stamps for others. Have a BSc Biology from SUNY at Stonybrook, Long Island, NY. Work in Tasmania in Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry. I live along the coast of Tasmania in a rural setting near a lagoon.

Equipment: Yaesu FT950, with 100W to an MFJ 1788 High Q Loop and an MFJ 1775 Rotatable Dipole 40-2m up 10 meters.
