Hi,

VO2 Zone Two callsign was issued just-in-time by Industry Canada on January 9th, 2003 few days before first operation. Many thanks to the Spectrum Manage crew who works in Ottawa.

First time used during DXpedition to Labrador City, Labrador in Zone 2. Transmissions were made from VO2WL Radio Club Station between January 13th and 17th 2003. Special credits to the President of the club, Nazaire Simon VO2NS, for his great support.

Please, QSL card via LogBook of the World at http://www.arrl.org/lotw/, there is also an eQSL card available at http://www.eqsl.cc .The paper one is via VE2TKH direct or bureau, tnx. Many many thanks to the 2615 hams from all around the World who were logged in my logbook during 2003 DXpedition. Please note that my partners (Gérald VE2ACP & Gervais VE2UE) worked 1525 stations with VO2UE callsign for a nice total of 4140 QSOs during this five days event.

Second Zone 2 DXpedition scheduled from march 25 to 30 2005, but was extended until april 11th 2005 due to very poor propagation. Tnx to the 2333 stations logged with Logger32 during this second DXpedition. TX was from VO2WL (Labrador City, NL) and from VE2ACP home (Fermont, Qc), both in CQ Zone 2. More info and pictures available here: http://www.qsl.net/ve2tkh/2005.htm

Third DXped was from august 31 to september 4th 2007,but extended to 5th for one more day. Thanks to VE2III Daniel and VO2NS Nazaire who represents the main activity to be on the air from this part of the world, many tnx guys for your kind help! QSO Target: +2000 Thanks in advance for your call es cu on the bands. Final results: 4258 Qs logged with Logger32.

TOTAL 2003, 2005 and 2007 operations: 9206 stations logged with Logger32 (http://www.logger32.net/)

I must not forget to mention that my CW training during 2005 till today is made with the help of a great tool made by VE3NEA called Morse Runner. It is availble for free here http://www.dxatlas.com/MorseRunner/ and you'll also find there some usefull tools like DXatlas (and more). Enjoy...

Do you know the new era and the future of QSLing? It's named Logbook of the World (AKA LoTW) and it is all explained here http://www.arrl.org/lotw/ Please take a tour and enjoy it!

73 & 88 to all,

Steve, VO2ZT
