I am located east of Maryville in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. I am employed as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant for the Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic in Knoxville Tennessee. My radios are the Kenwood TS-950 and Kenwood TS-2000 with a Hustler 6-BTV vertical and a Windom dipole. I am the call trustee for N4TAO, Tampke Allen Observatory, and AA4UT, University of Tennessee Amateur Radio Club as well as club advisor. I am the contact VEC for the UTARC ARRL-VEC team in Knoxville Tennessee. I am the director of the Smoky Mountain Explorers Radio Club AB5FQ, I am also a member of the Radio Amateur Club of Knoxville (RACK) and the East Tennessee DX Association. I an an amateur astronomer and a member of the Smoky Mountian Amateur Astronomy Club.
