First licensed in 1969, I went from novice to Advanced in a year. I was fairly active with my school station, and the college radio station, W2UC. Life intervened, as it often does, and it wasn't unitl 2005 that I decided it was time to become active again. I took all four parts of the test one evening, scaring the poor VE to death, and walked out with my Extra.

I am able to get on 80, 40, 20, 15,12,10 and 6, with varying degrees of success. All wire antennas, and 100W seems to be enough for now.

I am able to work JT65 during the workday, so I've been pretty active there. I like to play in contests, and I'm struggling to get me CW back to where it was in college, around 18 WPM on a good day.

Hope to work you soon!

73,

Steve
