W3NOD is the former callsign of Lieutennant Jacob Beser

who was the radar countermeasures officer on the Enola Gay

at Hiroshima, and on Bockscar at Nagasaki, the only person

aboard the bombing aircraft on both atomic bomb missions.

W3NOD is now the "voice" callsign of our group, our other

callsign, N3CDC is now the "digital" callsign, encompassing

our Packet/APRS network.
