Thanks for looking me up...

You will normally find me on 40M, but I occasionally wander to the other HF bands. My interests are working with older vintage equipment, and primarily wire antennas. Those old guys were pretty smart, they did all that without computers, think about it! All my antennas are fed with ladder line.

I enjoy working with equipment from the Swan Engineering Co. My first rig was a Swan Cygnet 270, and I currently use a 270 station consisting of a 270 Cygnet, ST-1 antenna tuner, and Swan Model 1200W linear.

I recently broke down and allowed a transistor radio into the shack with a Ten-Tec Corsair 1 station from the 1980's.

My current project is reconstructing a late-1940's AM station. I have a Johnson Viking II ready to go and am searching for a receiver of similar vintage and quality to go with it.

I reply to all QSL cards directly, as well as the 3905 CC Bureau.
