Licensed since 1957 at age 14, Technician class. Spent first couple of years on six meters before upgrading to General. On six meters, worked about 40 states and Japan with five watts of AM and a ground plane. Cycle 19 was great!

Now mostly active on RTTY contesting and DXing. Especially enjoy the challenge of 160 meter RTTY. Trying to work all states on that band. Skeds welcome.

My shack is on 2.5 acres of desert about 30 miles north of Palm Springs, California. Nearest neighbor is far, far away. TVI? What TVI? :-)

Rigs: IC-7600, homebrew 8877 amp for HF (1500 watts), homebrew 3-500Z for six meters (1000 watts).

Antennas: Cushcraft X7 yagi at 80 feet for 20/15/10, full size inverted vees at 70 feet for 160/80/40 and WARC. Cushcraft 5-el yagi at 30 feet for six meters.
