My friends call me Theron, which is my middle name, Although I use Don when im DX'ing. Don was my fathers name also, and to avoid confusion, my parents called me by my middle name.

Most of the time i can be found on 10M or 40M CW. I have been monitoring 10M frequently, and have worked asia and Africa so far, at the bottom of the solar cycle no less.

Currently trying my hand at an all Boatanchor type station. I have given away most of my modern gear, and currently run a Johnson Valiant, a Johnson Ranger II, a Hallicrafters S40A and a Hammarlund HQ-150. Really trying to get away from the Plug'N play radio setup. I also have started working on my own radio gear.

 Current antennas are:

Hygain TH3jr beam at 30ft for 10M 15M 20

Cushcraft R5 vertical at 20ft fir 10M 12M 15M 17M 20M

40M Extended Double Zepp at 60ft

80 Dipole at 50ft. Also usable on 30M with ATU

After 5 years of having my station outside in woodsheds and 5th wheel trailers, I have finally moved my station indoors. I am still in the process of gettting some wire up in the tree's out here at my new place. Have a better selection of tree's now, and i am able to orient my antenna's more, and not restricted to what I put up in the air.

That's about it really. I am fortunate to live in a great area of Washington state, and I have a beautiful daughter and a great son, that keep me busy.
