First licensed in 1965 as WN0LPV. I upgraded to general during summer of 1965 and changed my call to WA0LPV. I joined the Navy in 1969 and was introduced to RTTY on Treasure Island, San Francisco, CA. I worked several contests and really liked the mode using Model 19 machines. I upgraded to advanced class license then extra class but I've kept my original call.

Currently have183 contries worked and174 confirmed on RTTY.

I have just started working BPSK and am meeting new people and challenges.

The rig is a Yaesu FT-450 with a Navigator Interface and a Cushcraft A3 up about 10meters.

I am a retired high school technology teacher.
