Name is "BOB" . I was originally licensed as WA8CIE when living in Michigan in 1962. Moved to upstate New York (Utica area) back in the days when you had to change call signs and received this call WA2EXZ. I have been active with this call across the USA. Moved back to Michigan for a couple years and then Lived in Colorado Springs for 10 years before moving to my present QTH here in Georgia in 1988.

Station Equipment Home Rig : Icom IC 746 PRO, RigTalk CAT interface, Homebrew Soundcard interface, Heath SB200 Amplifier, MFJ VERSA TUNER V, Yaesu YO-101 Monitor scope, Kenwood TM231a, Yeasu FT 8100R, RF Concepts RFC 2-1217 Power amp.

Antennas: 2-Element Mini Beam up 40 feet (20, 17, 15, 10), 40 Meter Dipole up 40 Feet, All Band 80-10 Loop-SkyWire up 35 feet, Cushcraft 13B2 (13 ele 2 meter yagi) up 40 feet.

Software for Logging and Digital Modes: HRD

Computer: HP Dual Core

Mobile station : Icom IC-706MKIIG, Tarheel 100A





  I also enjoy building/flying Radio Controlled model aircraft. I have joined the two hobbies together and fly on 50MHZ.
