ANTENNAS :

1: 160m-10m band , 25m( 83' ) long DOUBLET up 18m ( 59 ' ) at the feed point. The middle 30' of the antenna is horizontal ,supported using bamboo poles ,with the ends drooping down with the end points about 13m ( 45' ) off the ground. Its fed with 450 ohm ladder line that's feeding a Amidon - AB-240-125 ,1-1 Current Balun and on to a MFJ-994B Auto Tuner.

2: 15 and 6 meter fan DIPOLE , favoring north and south , up 15m (50') that is fed through a RG213u coax balun and feed line. This antenna is used by me on the 17m through the 6m band and is effective when transmitting in the directions of my my main antennas null points , or as a tool to eliminate ground wave QRN. Because the 2nd harmonic , high impedance point , for this antenna of 42MHz is a fair distance from the frequencies I am using , it has proven to be a effective multiband antenna for use on the 17 thru 6 meter bands .

ANTIQUE RADIO : 1948 HALLICRAFTER S-53 short wave radio
