I have tried most amateur radio activities in my past from building from scratch and kits, to digital communications. Presently enjoying PSK31, mostly on 20 meters, and APRS 24/7. I have installed a APRS tracking unit in my car so friends can track me across the country when I travel with my lovely bride of over 50 years, (and counting!). I try to monitor 146.520 most all the time while traveling, so give a shout when I am in range.. I also run HF from the car, mostly on 7.258 mhz, MidCars... And after 43 years of having a General class of license, I took and passed the VE exam for my Amateur Extra, this past March 17, 2007!
