First Licensed in 1963 with the Novice Call of WN6HYH. Upgraded to General in 1965. Then upgraded to Advance in 1983. Entered the US Air Force right out of high school in 1965. Was Honorably Discharged in 1969 and got married that same year. And now,43 years later, still married to the same great gal, Christine. We have two wonderful sons, Tyson and Ryan, that have both married and have really great jobs and families of their own. My current station consists of the following equipment: Kenwood TS680S, Kenwood TS690S, Yaesu FT-100D, Ameritron AL-811H, Homebrew 90W 6 meter Amp, Yaesu FT-8800R, VoCom 100W 2 meter Amp, PC Electronics ATV Tranceiver, PC Electronics 1.2 GHz ATV DownConverter. I am currently in the process of building a 50 watt, 2.4 GHz ATV FM Transmitter. The following antennas are on a 50ft crank-up tower: Homebrew 5 element 6 meter beam, Mosely CL-33 three element Tri-Band for 10, 15 & 20 meters, with a 2 meter/440 MHz vertical on top. I use a trapped inverted V dipole on the 40 and 80 meter bands. I now also have a 20ft roof mounted tower with the following antennas: 2.4 GHz Conifer dish, 1.2 GHz 24 Element Loop Yagi, 434 MHz 11 Element Yagi, 2 meter 8 Element Yagi. I also have a 160 thru 30 meter AlphaDelta DX-B Sloper coming off of this tower. About 7 years ago I became involved with fast scan ATV and the Amateur Television Network organization in Southern California. I am now the President of the Southern California chapter of the ATN. I am currently involved with the following annual ham radio activities: MS-150 two day Bike Tour, MS 3Day Challenge Walk, LA County Fair "Ham Radio Expo" and the California Speedway. For several years I was President of the Beckman Coulter Radio Club. I am a Charter Member of the Inland Empire Amateur Radio Club and have served as Trustee and Vice President. Member of the Rancho Cucamonga RACES. Member of Brea RACES and the San Bernardino county ECS. Member of the ARRL. This is my QSL Card:
