Does anybody remember working me as the Garbage Truck Mobile late 80's early 90's. Here is a picture of the truck in 1988 and

what I was using. IC 735 the same one I'm using on 60 meters now, 2 Hustler mounts and various coils. The 2 meter is a Yaesu

727R with matching amp for 30 watts. Please drop me a line.

I'm back on the air with a new beam. I lost the my Pro 67  March 2012. Also a 20 foot section of the72 foot tower. The tower is back at 55 feet now. The Pro 67-B is at 56 feet and the 6 ele. 6 mtr. is at 66 feet.

I'm running the TS-2000. I try to make all the 6 meter openings from CN78QI The Northwest Corner of Washington State. This is also the Northwest

Corner of the Continental U.S. I do digital as well. Hope to see you on the band. I also have a IC 735 that monitors 60 meters channel 4. Using a full

wave loop at abt.40 feet cut for that freq. Dxing that band is best in the Winter so maybe I'll see you then. I reply to all qsl's. Standard envelope best. for sase

Here is the station now and then .                                                        2012 and 1978

Here is some of the nicer stuff from my old museum. Room was done with qsl bureau unclaimed cards from floor to ceiling.

Does any body remember the Four Corners Award ??? Started in1990 and ran until the lower corners became SKs. I could only find one to carry

on. You will notice that SE corner K4VGD became SK and KC4MVK ran with it until SW corner N6QJM became a SK in Mar 1992. I worked a ham

in Eastport, Me. this year and he said that WB1EZU was still active.

I'm still looking for shipmates. Hope some of you became a ham. Started out at Barbers Point Air Station 1966. Was transferred to the Coast Guard

Guard Cutter Bering Strait in Dec. 1966. Mid 1967 after 2 Ocean Station Victors we ended up in Viet Nam with 4 other 311 ships as Squadron 3

under Operation Market Time.

I had the privilege of helping paint the stripe on the ship while we were at sea. Got to have a littleR&R. This was taken on the equater 1968. I'm the

middle guitarist.

After the trip to Nam I did 1 more OSV and rotated to Neah Bay Life Boat Station 1968. I spent 11 weeks TAD at GraysHarbor LBS in 1969. May

1970 got out and never left Neah Bay.
