Saint Michel des Saints

Quebec, Canada - 10 f -23 c

Fuel and Lunch at a Lodge where mushers were giving guests rides on the snowmobile trails. Fuel was C$ 6.00 a gallon and beer C$ 5.00 a bottle.

Going up and over the mountain off trail during a freezing rain. Only two of us went up and over and the rest of the group with common sense decided to ride around and meet us on the other side.

Without studded tracks we wouldn't have made it to this side of the mountain, A 180 degree change in weather conditions in a little over two hours. I love riding in Quebec.

New Radio Room

For a while I thought I needed to have my head examined when I decided to move the shack from the basement. It took over 3 months from start to finishing the project. Running new electrical service required opening up walls on the first and second floor. Thank goodness my son in law was in the construction industry. He did a wonderful job repairing and finishing the walls and ceiling after I pulled new service to the second floor.

Jason Pecora ( KB8O ) did all the carpentry work. By trade Jason is a Master Carpenter.
