My name is Kevin and I was first licensed, as a No-Code Tech, on December 12, 1992, while living in HAWAII. In August 2001, while still in Hawaii, I upgraded to General, after the Code limitation was dropped to 5wpm.

In June of 2004 my wife Karen, WH6CWD, and I moved to Oregon, where we now live in Saint Helens.

Interests include: Home, Portable and Mobile operations, Mentoring, Emergency communications, Space communications, Building/Maintaining repeaters, DF'ing, VHF/UHF propagation/Tropo.

I have just recently gotten into HF, as we now have the "Real Estate" to put up Bigger Antennas.
