I currently teach electronics at a small college in Cleveland, Ohio. I'm a Certified Broadcast Radio Engineer (CBRE®) and member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE). I hold three FCC commercial licenses, and serve as an FCC commercial license examiner, accredited by National Radio Examiners.
When in Canada, I am VE3PFM.
Two of my three children also are radio amateurs: Hannah, age 19 (KC2NHV) and Raphael, age 13 (W8RDM). My son Mickey -- soon!
Aside from ham radio, I enjoy target shooting, and currently hold the rank of Distinguished Expert in Handgun (NRA). I teach handgun self-defense and have been privileged to work with many outstanding students, including the recent Governor of the State of Ohio.
Last but not least, I'm the author of a best-selling book on the history of the U.S. Constitution's Second Amendment (see book picture below). You can read about my book and see a more detailed bio here.
