My station WY2E , is located in the New York Mid Hudson River Valley, about 60 miles north of Manhattan. My Friends call me Fred.

My favorite operating modes are digital including psk, and JT65. and SSB. The only phone contests I participate in are the more relaxed ones including HF and VHF.

My primary station is an Elecraft K3, KPA500 and KAT500 for 500w out on 80-6m.. Homebrew antennas include an 40m OCF, 20% NW/SE, up about 50 feet, and a 127 ft doublet up 55ft .

Icom 7000, LDG Z-11 ATU, SignaLink USB interface. for 6m - 70cm, HF portable and mobile operations.

Alinco DR-135 for 2m with MFJ-1278 for Packet and APRS

Other antennas include whatever I am experimenting with at the time including: verticals and vertical dipoles for HF as well as Moxons and beams for VHF. For antenna modeling I use either MMANA or EZNEC.
