Good News folks!!! WY7SS Now has its QSL cards.  We mailed out over 100 so far.  I sure hope they help with those sought after awards. Thank you so much for the contacts and helping us to get WY7SS on the air and having fun!!

In the meantime, hello and thanks for visiting the QRZ home of WY7SS - the Northeast Wyoming Contesting Club, residing in Devils Tower. Founders Dwayne (WY7FD) and Katie (WY7KRA) Allen decided to create the club specifically for Sweepstakes. They love November sweeps so much that they were married on November 15, 2008 the day of voice sweepstakes and spent part of the evening with their friends Mary, K1MMH; Sean KX9X; and Ward N0AX at W1AW. All three are members of the club.

Fast forward to November 2009. We decided to add new members to the club and welcome to Chip K7JA & Janet KL7MF Margelli and Ward, N0AX Silver to Devils Tower to play for CW weekend. Ward, N0AX and Chip K7JA were primary operators for CW SS.

Voice SS in 2009 had five ops and three new members to the club - Katie, WY7KRA; Dwayne, WY7FD; Leo, WY7LL and Jim KB7TGR and his YL Elaine, KE7TWF.

   Lightning Leo, WY7LL strikes and got the last QSO needed for sweep for the team!

The all ICOM shack for the contest this year for CW SS is Icom 7700 and Icom 7800 with companion amplifier the PW1. Heil Headsets on our heads and we're ready to go! Voice SS we will be using the Icom 7700 and 756 ProIII.   An6el is our offical Shack kitty.
