Equipment:

: Flex 5000A

: The Steppir took a lightning strike a few monsoons ago so is out of commission indefinitely. Replaced recently with 12 el 10-20m Acom LPDA it is up at about 32m and working well.

A little above Log is the 6el 10m band OWA and above that a dipole for 40m.

Loved the Steppir but time to go back to simplicity and it doesn't get any simpler than the log.

:32m Freestanding Tower

On 10 and 12m we use the Optima. A small 50w Radio that does a fine job. Copied on another popular design it is a solid performer barefoot or fed into a solid state amplifier.

Yet to come is a 6el Inov beam for 6m and a multiband inverted V for 80m and everything else fed with a remote tuner and 450 ohm ribbon. Hope to operate a 6m beacon from YB0 in the next few months.

Trying to retire and have been living in beautiful Indonesia for past 35 years. Ex New Zealand.
