YN5ZO are operations by K7ZO. I was on the air twice during 2012. (Look for me as YN5Z during 2013)

My first operation was during late February and early March 2012 including during the ARRL DX SSB contest. At that time I used a FT-100 barefoot into a low dipole strung from our hotel balcony into a nearby tree.

My second operation was from December 5th thru December 10th 2012 including an entry in the ARRL 10 Meter contest as a Single Op High Power Phone only. I operated "Field Day Style" using a 5 band Spiderbeam and 40M dipole on a push up mast. The radio was a TS-590 driving a KPA-500 amp. At this time (Feb 2013) it looks like I might be 5th in the world among DX (non W/VE/XE ) entrants. So, if I worked you thanks.

Across both operations I made 4,265 QSOs.

Logs from both operations have been uploaded to LOTW. I will also QSL via the buro and direct to myself/K7ZO. If you QSL direct you must include an SASE if you are from the USA and a self addressed envelope and IRC/Green Stamp if outside the USA.

As of Feb 12th 2013 I have received and replied to 171 paper QSL cards from these two operations. 1,640 of these QSOs have been confirmed in LOTW matches - which represents 38% of the QSOs made.
