2013

I was in the Cayman Islands from January 12-20, 2013 to do some Scuba Diving and Island Style Operating on 20,17,15,12 meters depending on propagation in the morning and early afternoon during the week. On Saturday January 19, I participated in the NAQP Contest.

Three days of scuba diving is now over with Rays, Eels, Turtles,1 Lion Fish plus many colorfull fish and I dove the USS Kitewake Wreck plus two rounds of Golf. Water Temperature down 100 feet was 80 degrees F. Great Weather, Great Island, Great Vacation

January 16 Results: 505 Contacts all on 17 meters, 43 states and 26 countries.

January 17 Results: 317 Contacts, 105 on 15m (18 states + 28 countries), 178 on 12m (28 states + 20 countries), 34 on 20m (19 states + 2 countries)

January 18 Results: 241 Contacts, 68 on 15m (6 states + 23 countries), 173 on 12m (17 states + 28 countries)

January 19 Results:176 Contacts pre Contest, 67 on 20m (26 states + 5 countries), 3 on 10m (2 states + 2 Countries), 16 on 15m (9 states + 4countries), 87 on 12m (19 states + 15 countries)

4 Day Total Pre Contest: 1240 Contacts = 46 States, missed AK, HI, SD, & WY + 53 Countries. 18.5 Hours of operation

January 19 NAQP Contest: 965 Contacts, 45 States, missed HI, MT, NE, ND, RI, 10/13 Provinces, 19 Countries. 10 Hour Contest

For the week, 2205 Total Contacts and I only missed HI for WAS + 59 Countries. Current with all QSL cards Received.

 

2011

I was in the Cayman Islands from January 2 to 9, 2011 and did some diving and worked DX, Holiday Style.

Totals for the week - 555 Contacts, 31 Countries, 46 States and 6 great dives.
