School years were spent in Union City, Tennessee.

Was in the navy for 5 years during Korean war. Part of these were attached to the Submarine "Amberjack SS-522".

Lived in: Madison,Florida; Birmingham,Alabama; French Camp, Mississippi; Memphis,Tennessee; Las Vegas, New Mexico; and Tucson, Arizona.

Of all the cities I've lived in, Tucson is my favorite.

Raised 4 children over a period of 38 years.

Worked thirty years as a Refrigetation-appliance-heating-cooling technician.

Involved in my church activities.

Also involved in RACES; Tucson Repeater Association (TRA); leadership in public service events such as The El Tour de Tucson (furnishing communications for the 111 mile bike race/ride involving over 5000 participants); Christmas in April (furnishing communications for the repair of approximately 40 indigent houses all on the same weekend involving approximately 2000 volunteers).

Have one of the TRA repeaters on my tower, 146.660 (-). It is an open repeater with a phone patch.

Am ARRL Examiner and ARES SEC.

Enjoy getting on nets and belonging to associations such as ARMS.

Enjoy travelling. Enjoy seeing the landscape as I travel. My wife still works as a special Ed teacher so curtails the amount of travel we can do.
