Thanks for taking a look! I was licensed in 1958 at the age of 13 as KN3IYK. I upgraded to General at age 14 and have been active ever since. I am active mostly on CW, RTTY, PSK31/63,and SSB160 meters through 70 centimeters (10X #32671). I do quite a bit of 6 and 2 meter SSB operation with a 3 ele yagi on 6 meters and a 13 ele. yagi on 2 meters. I am on 50.290 mhz on each Thursday evening using PSK63 on the San Diego Six ShootersDigital VHF net as a net control station at 0300z (8 pm Pacific). The net is part of the San Diego Sixshooters ARC of which I am the current club president. Look for us! I like to chase DX, but with the limitations of just an Cushcraft R7 vertical or 160 meter dipole antennas on HF, it's quite challenging! I also enjoy contesting. Rigs are a pair of Kenwood TS-2000s on HF/VHF/UHF, an Ameritron ALS 600 amp, a Kenwood TM-261 and a TM-621A. A Rigblaster Pro rounds out the gear. I use LOTW and www.eqsl.cc for QSLs. All the best to you and yours! 73! Last modified: 2012-01-24 16:39:19, 1101 bytes cached
