MORE DETAILS UNDER DA2011LHNow we have uploaded some impressions of our Lighthouse activity 2010.CLICK and watch DA2010LH picturesCLICK and watch the DA2010LH movieCampen Lighthouse operation during the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend 2010.The event is accomplished by members of the radio club Karlsruhe (A07) in cooperation with the responsible authorities.Each QSO will be confirmed with the DOK A07 (for DOK hunters) and the lighthouse number too. We are QRV from inside the old engine building which is in front of the lighthouse. The lighthouse is the tallest one in Germany at 65 meters height good for 160m. It was built in 1889 and went in traffic 1891. The range of its light is approximately 55 kilometres. There are plenty of lighthouses around the Campen Lighthouse so maybe you will find another activelighthouse which is close to us during the weekend too. For example the Knock Lighthouseone of the modernand very importantlighthouses which is not reallyfarfrom uswill be active with the callsign DK0DAN as well. We will be QRV from 10m down to 160m with differenttypes of antennas. The modesare mainly SSB and CW. On this event we are running on 30m CW too. The whole team isnow 100% complete. The operators are DK1CE, DJ2HD, DJ2BQ, DH3WO, DL4UL and YL DJ6US. The reference numbers are the ILLW DE0048 / FED-004 / GLHA 13 Please Note: ALL QSL's will be sent automatically after the expedition via buro. So it's not necessary to send us a QSL from your side. BUT hams who want a direct QSLplease note: EU ==> 2 green stamps/outside EU ==> 3 green stamps + SAE via DH3WO home address. All QSL cardshave been sent this week (7.1.2011) either direct or to the QSL buro for furtherdistribution
