QSL: LOTW OR EQSL ONLY!

I am a Vietnam veteran who served in B Battery of the 2/32nd Mobile Artillery "Proud Americans" in Cu Chi and Phu Loi. We used 155mm and 175mm mobile artillery guns. Deactivated in 1972, the "Proud Americans" were reactivated and now serve in Iraq. Standing next to those big guns did wonders for my hearing. CQ what?????. Later joined the 101st Cavalry where we rode Tanks instead of horses.

Professionally I am a licensed Customs House Broker, CIO and Security Compliance Officer of an international transportation company. I have also spent several years as an international trade consultant and managed small companies in various industries. My career has enabled me to travel throughout the world which was a rich experience. Sometimes I get to play with some cool toys since we transport a lot of military equipment. To the right is a Black Hawk helicopter on its way to a place I cannot reveal. If I did tell you, I would have to kill you. :)

I am currently using a Yaesu FT-450D and am pleasantly surpirsed how well it works and the features it has. A bigger surprise for me was how well the new Miracle Antenna MMD end fed dipole performs. I got one for 20m and no tuner needed. This combination fits my present needs very well. I just finished my third year in Florida and kicking myself for not leaving the cold weather behind a long time ago. Life is good when you can wear shorts, sandals and a T shirt most of the year.
