This is the club station of GigaHertz, LLC, an RF Consulting and Calibration company located south of Pittsburgh, PA. The company is a spinoff of ITS Corporation, which was founded in 1982 by three former RCA television transmitter design engineers. The name ITS stood for Information Transmission Systems, picked by the founders because they believed that technology would merge television signal transmission with telephony and data transmission when the digital age arrived.

This trend, now know as convergence, continues as digital TV, Internet and voice transmission continues to merge into a worldwide Information Transmission System. The company's specialty remains RF communications.
