Electronic communications has been part of my life as long as I can remember. My Father was a radio/electronics technician and gave me some of my first exposure to electronics. His father left us tons of books filled with projects in electronics that were either built or we dreamed of building. I joined the US Air Force at the age of 17 and spent 25 years in Active, Reserve, and National Guard components as either a communications or electronics technician. Through the years I was always intrested in getting licensed but never pursued it. I finally got mixed up with a bunch of DXers who told me to go take the tests which I passed and my first HF contact was Swains Island expedition of April 2007 as guest operator of a friends station. Now these are the guys your mothers warn you about. Late nights, exotic locations, and the lure of the next entity, I was hooked. Member of the ARRL, Magnolia DX Association, Jackson County Amateur Radio Association, Jackson County ARES/ RACES. DXCC Mixed WAS Triple Play WAS #102
