Click for more detail... Hello! I was originally licensed in 1984 back in Ohio where I grew up. Currently I live in San Jose, CA. I'm a pilot and work for Apple as a UNIX Systems Admin. For station equipment I have a vernerable old Yaesu FT-757-GX and matching antenna tuner for HF, and the Kenwood TM-V7 dual-bander and TH-G71 HT (both 2M/70cm). I use dipoles on 10 and 20 and an Outbacker PerthPLUS for 20+. I enjoy building transceivers and other electronics projects, ATV (amateur TV) and digital modes. I'm currently building a 20M portable XCVR for PSK31 and an aero-mobile ATV station. The picture you see is of me (on the right) meeting Bob Hoover, a world-famous aviator who broke the sound barrier with Chuck Yaeger and currently is a renowned aerobatics pilot.
