Pictured is 2 y.o. Tanner at the station control point, celebrating after working Desecheo K5D at 40wpm CW. On November 21, 2006 my callsign changed from KE7FYP to KF7P. I QSL 100% (of incoming cards) that come with a SASE. Sending direct to address above is best. Bureau is OK too. I upload to LOTW monthly. I do not eQSL at this time. Greetings from Sandy, Utah! The "shack" (I use that term loosely) equipment currently consists of an Icom radios and amplifiers, Heathkit SB220, and various other MFJ accessories. Antennas are a Tennadyne T6 at 50', and a W5GI Mystery Antenna in the trees in the backyard. I like to experiment with antennas and have tried lots of different configurations. I monitor the IHC repeater on 145.19 tone 123.0 in Salt Lake as that is where most of the club hangs out. I got my tech license right before Christmas '05 and upgraded to general in January '06; the Extra class came in August '06. Aside from ham stuff, I enjoy exploring the Utah backcountry by bike, boot, ski, and especially by Jeep! I am married to a beautiful woman (who tolerates my ham radio and jeepin' hobbies), and have three wonderful kids. I have always enjoyed homebrewing my own equipment and station accessories. I also make custom aluminum boxes, enclosures, NEMA boxes, coax entrance panel boxes, weatherproof matching network enclosures, telescoping tower coax standoff arms, etc.
