My name is Paul, I am 58 years of age, I live in Ormskirk a small market town in West Lancashire approximately 20 Kilometers north of Liverpool in the North West of the United Kingdom.

I came into amateur radio through my disabled son who has been on the radio for several years with the callsign: M0SPM

I operate a Yaesu 8800 into a "ZL special" (2/70) using 10 watts, I also operate on the HF bands.

Other than the radio my other passion is working on steam engines.

For many years I have helped in the restoration of 71000 "Duke of Gloucester" a mainline pacific engine from the British Railway days.
