I mainly operate MOBILE using 2m,70cm repeaters DStar and hf, fortunately I drive for a living so can operate most of the day. Have made some great contacts using limited power. Working conditions are Yaesu 857d Atas 120A High Sierra Sidekick BHI 1031 dsp Can normally be found on 2M GB7OK DStar or 70cm GB3OK Repeaters most days which has excellent coverage and also echolink Node 280040. http://www.gb3ok.com Also playing with DStar using IC E2820 http://dstarusers.org I passed my M3 August 2006 and finding things very interesting and have made some great contacts.
