Moved up to Scotland in the summer of '96 and love the Country. Main interest is 40mts, and 15mts but work 2mts and 70cms when there is some activity. Sec. of Strathmore ARC.GM3GBZ. and a member of MEGS. MEGS No 368. Forfar lies in a 'hole' so VHF DX is almost none. Main station is ICOM 746 100 watts or less to a very low dipole at 25ft. I like working special event stations and 'rag chewing'.

VHF is 100 watts max to a 5 element dual bander at 40ft (5 elements on 2 mts and 5 on 70cms, vertical polarization). Just for a local natter.

Now on 6 mts, as of Dec 2001 100 wtts to a wire dipole.

Also mobile on 6, 2 and 70cms and 40 and 20 mts.

Now that class B and class A are the same, I have decided to keep my class B call GM6AAJ for all work.
