Hi OM,

 

I was born in 1947.

 I was 16 years old as I started to work with trucks. After  I have got my truckdriver licence I worked 42 years as an “International truckdriver”. 

 

At that  time there was an oil crisis, I worked 2 years in the Middle East. Later  6 years in Scandinavian. And then mainly in Germany, Switserland, France, Italy and Austria.

                                     

 

   

 

 

 

 

 Till 5 years ago I had an 11m transceiver on board and at home. I am retired since 5 years.

 In April 2007 I have got my amateur licence. Mostly I am working in the digital modes with my Kenwood 570 D transceiver.

In SSB (Phone) I am working with the Kenwood TS- 2000.      The Black one, the “Limited Edition”.

 

My Hf antennas: G5RV 10-160m,  a Fritzel Rotari dipole “FB 13”,  mostly I use this one for the digital contest modes

For 2m I have a homebrew 9 el. beam and for 70 cm  also a  homebrew 19 el. beam and a "Diamond X 700" vertical.
