I obtained my amateur ticket in 1965, my advanced followed by my commercial ticket in 1966. I worked in the telecommunications industry engineering and management vocations until moving to Vancouver Island in 1987.

     I can usually be contacted via SSB HF on the TransCanada Net which is run on Sundays at 18:00Z, 14.140 MHz. I also enjoy CW operating.

     I like home building of surface mount electronics gear. I am interested in the merging of microcontroller and RF technology and enjoy experimenting with state-of-the-art surface mount electronics.
