Yes, the above address is the proper mailing address.

PLEASE NOTE: All envelopes coming to Canada must now have a return address in the upper left hand corner. And they must be addressed to a person, not just an amateur call.

APRIL 2007 Upon request I will confirm contacts made this month with the QSL card from 2005 commemorating the opening of the Canadian War Museum and the Year of the Veteran. http://www.qsl.net/ve9wgs/qsl14.jpg This is in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge during The First World War. http://www.civilization.ca/cwm/vimy/index_e.html It is probably best to QSL direct because I don't have a huge supply of these cards. Regardless of how you send your card, make a note that you want the VIMY confirmation. There is no special prefix for this so I may need reminded if I don't get your card for awhile.

VE9WGS operated as CG9WGS from December 1, 2006 - January 31, 2007. Special Canadian prefixes were available to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first voice broadcast over radio by Canadian born Reginald Aubrey Fessenden on Christmas Eve 1906, SEE QSL INFO BELOW.

VE9WGS also operated as VX9WGS to commemorate the event. The special prefix was authorized from June 10-July 9, 2006. A special QSL is available via VE9WGS, SEE QSL INFO BELOW. The QSL shows part of the map of Canadian radio stations in 1958 from The Atlas of Canada which is also celebrating it's 100th anniversary in 2006. The QSL can also be viewed on my website. http://www.qsl.net/ve9wgs/

VC9COAL was a Special Event Call Sign issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the naming of Minto, New Brunswick. The station was on the air during the month of December, 2004. A special QSL card was available via VE9WGS, SEE QSL INFO BELOW.

Special prefixes also used in the past CG9WGS, VX9WGS, XM9WGS, CK9WGS
