W0NB is a retired Commercial Radio Broadcaster, now consulting. He was licensed in 1955 as KN0AAH, and has held the callsigns K0AAH, W7AMP, W0KMN and KP2L. He is a veteran of several IOTA excursions, most while sailing out of KP2. His biggest ham radio thrill was to be one of the K5D Desecheo Island DXpedition operators in February, 2009. He is a founding member and past-president of the Caribbean Contesting Consortium and competes regularly from their PJ2T station at Signal Point, Curacao. He is a member of the Eastern Iowa DX Association, NCDXF and the ARRL. He works mostly CW and loves Field Day each summer. His home is in rural Iowa on the banks of the Mississippi River.
