I was issued my novice license, KA8BXM in 1978.The primary operating station consists of a Ten-Tec Jupiter 538AT into a LDG AT-1000Pro autotuner and Ameritron ALS-600 amplifier. The backup rig is a Yeasu FT-897D. The backup to the backup is an Icom IC-735.
Mobile operation in my Ford F-150 is via a Yaesu FT-857D into a Little Tarheel II with a N2VZ Turbo Tuner.The tower is a freestanding Universal 930 with Mosley 3 element tri-band and 4 element 6M beams, a full wave (532 feet) 160 meter delta loop on the east fed with 450 ohm ladder line, 80 meter dipole and 40 meter inverted V with common 50 ohm feed line on the west.The mailing address is Hillsboro, WV but the house is in Seebert, 4 miles east of Hillsboro. Winter season population 25. lat. 38.1281 N long. -80.1769 W. Altitude 2072'.I am Vietnam Vet and Life Member of the VFW.
