Got my ticket in 2001. Most of my operating is mobile as I am a Truck Driver, have been since Sept of 78. I use a Kenwood TS480SAT in the truck with a TarHeel 2 screwdriver ant. I use a Kenwood TS450S when I am home. Spend most of my time on the upper bands, 20 meters and up, when mobile, and love 40 and 75 meters when I am home. Operate CW when I am parked on the road and at home.

Now a member of the SKCC (Straight Key Century Club). If you like pounding the brass, there are alot of very good Operators in the group and you'll have alot of fun. The speed is a little slower because of using the Straight Key, at least for me. Hope to meet you on the air ways. --... ...--
