Click for more detail... (August 2002) - Rig is packed and I will leave ZC4 land 17th August. Thanks to Geoff (ZC4VG) I might have a couple more days activity b4 I fly !!! Second return to Cyprus as ZC4BS after a 9 year gap. Five years of operation and 34,000 QSL cards issued so far (over 70,000 QSO's). (April 2001) I made the first ever SSTV QSO from ZC4 land. Thanks to HA5DW, S53X and ON4VT I could not have done it without your help. Thanks to Ron (KZ5RO) and the gang on the Afrikaner net a super time was had even with shoestring antennas 240 countries were worked on 15m - this being my favourite band. If sending/requesting a card, please please check what callsign you write on the card, I have received dozens with ZC4BH or ZC4BC or similar and even my morse is not that bad ;-) As of today 30-Oct-04 I will no longer support EQSL as I was accused by a support volunteer (W3ZJ) of being fraudulent in asking to be re-verified, I then continued to receive personal email abuse from him !! Apologies to the 1000's who require a ZC4 via EQSL, the problem lies with them not me. Once time permits I will move over to the LOTW program, I believe that is managed a little better lol I am also the ZC4 awards manager - see K1BV awards directory or my homepage for further info on this prestiguous award !!! By the way, there are 2 QSL managers for ZC4BS: G4SBE - my father (Southport, Lancashire) G4KIV - myself (Knaresborough, North Yorks) Both these calls are ok, but please direct QSL only. Check my homepage for my online logbook !! Steve ZC4BS ZC40BS ZC4BBS ZD8SB N5ZFR and of course G4KIV Last modified: Wed Dec 10 06:33:20 2008 Does this page contain inappropriate content?
