I'm currently licensed as a Professor of Medicine and Surgery in California and Tennessee. When my time permits during off duty days, you may hear me on HF/6m/VHF/UHF/10GHz as I venture into the High Sierras and/or Great Smoky Mountains. My hobbies include propagation research, improving the accuracy of GPS, amateur satellites, nature photography, and astronomy.
